"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13 |

The hand of God is evident in my life. God says, "I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to
harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jer 29:11)I started as a confused, grief-stricken little girl and became a woman that is willing to trust God completely never knowing what a day will
bring. God has shaped me through the years, and is continuing to fashion me so that I become who He wants me to be. |

My mother passed away when I was 6 years old. I missed the love and sense of belonging she created in my life. I
buried the grief and heartache. My elementary and teen years were difficult, filled with pain and loneliness. When I was 13, my aunt Sheila shared with me what it means to have a personal
relationship with Jesus. I accepted Christ into my life. Things began to change; I realized His overwhelming love in my life. |

After graduating from High school, I attended Moody Bible Institute. It was there I began noticing the bitterness that had grown in my heart
through the years. I started counseling and that helped me deal with my childhood trauma. I began to understand what it means to forgive and restore broken relationships.I've been married since 1988 to
Darren Jones. Our wonderful son, Luke, was born in 1991. God is teaching me what true love is and what it means to renew love and commitment with my husband. I praise God that each day of our lives can
overflow with hope. |
