north across the street, Citicorp Center. The overall floor plan of 599 Lexington Ave is two perfect squares, the smaller one rotated 45 degrees inside the larger. And when viewed from street
level, the triangular shafts that rise to varying heights mostly hide this plan in exquisite fashion. |
